Yes! You see right... it is Ötzi coming out of the snow to help you open  your ice-cold bottle of refreshing beer.

 

 

Showing some of the componens used to build the luminair. Laser cutted sheet metal, a specificly designed rubber part, and several 3D-printed ABS-parst.

 
 

Making of

 

Reseach as an important base of the process of the design. Therefore visiting on of the last cole mines in germany in Ibbenbühren. Going down to 1600m beneath the surface.

 
 
 
 
 

Mounting the different parts just by folding and clipping them together.

Beneath... a series of tries to get to the final shape.

 

First rough scetches of a possible form for the Geleucht.
